Terms of service

Tiraverse QUIZ is provided by Tiraverse Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 17036977. By creating an account you accept these terms. If you accept them for a school, you confirm you are authorised to bind that school.

• Keep your credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must be 18 or over to hold a teacher or administrator account. Pupils take part through a share code or an account their school creates.
• Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been misused.

You keep ownership of everything you upload and everything you create. You grant us only the licence needed to host it, display it to the people you share it with, and process it to run the features you use.

When you publish a quiz to the public library, you allow other users to view and remix it, with the attribution trail preserved. You can unpublish it at any time; copies already remixed remain with their authors.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including third-party teaching material.

Question generation and AI marking are assistive. They can be wrong. Review generated questions before you set them, and review AI marks before you release them. Tiraverse QUIZ gives the teacher the final say on every mark, and we do not warrant that AI output is accurate, complete or suitable for assessment on its own.

• Do not upload unlawful material, or material that infringes someone else's rights.
• Do not use the service to harass, or to collect personal data beyond what teaching requires.
• Do not attempt to breach isolation between organisations, probe the service for vulnerabilities without written permission, or circumvent quotas.
• Do not resell the service without a written agreement.

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, at the price shown when you subscribe.
• You can cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for and does not renew.
• We give at least 30 days' notice before a price change affecting your renewal.
• Quota limits are published on the pricing page and apply per billing period.

We work to keep the service available, and we publish live status at api.tiraverse.co.uk/health. The free plan is provided as is, with no availability commitment. A School-plan agreement can carry a service level; ask for it.

You can close your account at any time by writing to hello@tiraverse.co.uk. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. On closure you can export your data; see the privacy notice for retention and erasure.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost data you could have exported, or indirect loss.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
